MB Bch BAO MICGP DCH
I graduated with an honours medical degree in 2010 from NUI Galway. I then completed four years of General Practice Training, also in Galway. I have a special interest in family planning and women’s health, children’s health, diabetes care, genitourinary medicine and substance misuse.
I developed an interest in tongue-tie after my own son was diagnosed with a tongue-tie and i was having difficulty breastfeeding. He underwent a frenotomy procedure and there was a marked improvement in his latch when breastfeeding. We happily breastfed for another 8 months.
My qualifications: MB Bch BAO MICGP, Diploma in Child Health, R.C.P.C.H., Certificate in Contraception, Advanced Certificate in LARC, ICGP LARC Tutor, Level 2 Methadone Doctor, Module in Diabetes in Primary Care, Module in Academic General Practice, Member of IATP (International Affiliation
